Nikon Announces D5200 DSLR

Nikon has released the  successor to the D5100, the Nikon D5200 DSLR camera. It comes with several high-end features normally reserved for the company's flagship models, such as the 39-point autofocus system including the 9 cross-type sensors in the middle, and a 2,016-pixel RGB metering sensor, which will give you better automatic white balance and exposure.
The camera is equipped with Nikon's 24.1-megapixel, DX-format CMOS sensor and an Expeed 3 processor, the same that is in Nikon's $6000 EXPEED 3 D4 camera. It allows up to 60fps when shooting 1080i video. You can also shoot in 50i, 24p, 25p, or 30p (1080) per second, and it has a stereo microphone and an external microphone input. 

It comes with a side-hinged vari-angle monitor (3-inch, 921k-dot LCD) and covers a broad range of sensitivities from ISO 100 to ISO 6400, with additional expansion up to ISO 25600 (Hi 2).

There's a choice of 3 colours - black, red, bronze. Weighs 555 g and has a new GUI. It will be on-sale in Europe for €899 / £719.99 for the body, or €1,029 / £819.99 with the standard 18-55mm VR kit lens.
