Chevrolet Onix : Design Gallery

An extensive set of design sketches of the Chevrolet Onix, the B-segment hatchback developed at the GM’s Brazilian Global Design Center and presented at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.
The Onix is based on GM’s compact vehicle architecture, but the design was completely developed at the General Motors do Brasil’s Design Center in Sao Paulo.
Among the distinctive features is the Bluetooth connectivity capability combined with the MyLink technology, which will allow passengers to bring their songs, photos, videos and mobile phone applications for display on a seven-inch color LCD screen inside the vehicle.
The range of engines will include a 1.0-liter and a 1.4-liter unit, which will be offered in combination with the GF6 six-speed automatic transmission – another segment first – the same used in the Chevrolet Cruze, Sonic and Sport6.
Produced at GM’s plant in Gravataí (State of Rio Grande do Sul), the Chevrolet Onix will go on sale in the Brazilian market this November, and will be offered in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels.
