Caterham revealed today their new low-cost, high value kart, which is called the CK-01. The Caterham CK-01 kart is meant for a new championship aimed at a maximum of 120 youngsters aged between 13 and 16. Caterham premiered their new CK-01 kart today at the AutoSport International (Stand No 2520) at Birmingham's NEC.
Caterham's new CK-01 kart is priced at 4,995 GBP +VAT, for which the carmaker is also offering full technical support. The new kart series is opened to novices only, and it includes guidance through the acquisition of the ARKS race license, a paddock trolley and entry to the six-event season.
Each event will be held on a single day and it will include practice sessions, qualifying and the actual race. So far, Caterham did not disclose any technical details about the new CK-01 kart. The exact locations of the six races are still kept secret.
