MB&F M.A.D. Gallery is located at the heart of Geneva; although it already had many intriguing and amazingly awe-inspiring machines, a recent addition is the “Rhodium Birdfish” guitar.

Beautifully handcrafted, this modular electric guitar features two-piece aluminum body, interchangeable wooden tone bars, headless maple neck, and sliding pickups that can be swapped in seconds. This exceptionally unique guitar is the creative expression by Ulrich Teuffel.
Most of his guitar components are crafted by hand, using classic materials, at his Bavarian atelier and is very precise with every aspect of the making – a time consuming process – explaining why only 10 birdfish guitars are created each year. The Birdfish follows an unorthodox form, getting its name from two central elements – the ‘bird’ and the ‘fish’; the guitar is based on a solid block of acoustically-optimal aluminum while the control unit comes with a five-way switch like that of a classic 1950s guitar.

The model in MB&F’s M.A.D. Gallery is a Rhodium Prodigy Birdfish (maple-wood tone bars, aged bird’s eye maple neck) is priced at approx. $20,000 including Swiss VAT.
