The McLaren MP4-12C Spider is a staggering supercar, ready to please the traveling type of guys as well as lovers of speed. Wheelsandmore agrees … and more – they’ve customized it!
There are two different stages of additional power for this fabulous car, both proper for the pre-2013 600 HP version as well as for the brand new 626 HP new one. McLaren’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is suitable for being fitted a State One power kit, which consists of some ECU remapping that increases the car’s output to 650 HP and 625 Nm (461 lb-ft) of torque.
The more powerful choice though is the Stage Two kit, which brings the car’s power to 700 HP and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque. Apart from the ECU remap it also sports a valve-controlled exhaust system with brand new catalytic converters.
The guys at Wheelsandmore are also able to complete the kits with the in-house made 6Spoz2 forged wheels in a number of finishes. The measurements are made to fit the overall image of the car, sizing 9.5 x 20 inches at the front and 12 x 21 inches at the rear, wrapped in Continental rubbers measuring 255/30/20 at the front and respectively 325/25/21 at the rear.
The exterior of the car may also receive a nice finish in the shape of a Matte Navy Dark Gray wrapping. But those longitudinal stripes make this supercar exponentially cool.
