The primary purpose of a bike helmet is obviously to keep your brain where it belongs, but that doesn’t mean it can’t do that and keep you looking good at the same time. Bern has been making great looking, protective helmets for everything but cyclists for a while.
They’ve finally released a cycling specific helmet that’s as good at protecting your brain matter as it is stylish. Working with cyclo-cross racers and bike messengers, Bern created a helmet with sixteen strategic airflow vents, lightweight high-impact foam, a polycarbonate shell, an integrated visor and Sink Fit technology (the helmet fits around your head, not on top). It also comes in differing levels of flash (matte black, gloss white, matte grey and matte neon green) so you can protect and accessorize as you see fit.
