The Forty-Eight is probably one of the sweetest Harley-Davidson machines ever made for both street prowling and long highway hauls, and the 2014 year model is proudly carrying on the acclaimed heritage.
A true Sportster, the 2014 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight is boasting on the 1,202cc air-cooled, ESPFI (Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection) Evolution v-twin, which drags you forward with a chain final driver and the might of the 96 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque.

The iconic peanut-shaped fuel tank which was first installed on an H-D back in 1948 (hence the name) is neatly displaying its arched top while letting the whole engine shine underneath it. And if you go for a custom Hard Candy Flake paint, there's hardly any better place to show off such exclusive graphics.
ABS has become available on all new Sportsters, and the rotors grew from 292mm to 300mm, while the rest of the braking system received a nice upgrade, too, steel braided lines and all. A new gauge is now offering gear position data, alongside more ride-essential info, and the H-D Smart Security key fob adds to both convenience and peace of mind.

The seat of the 2014 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight is now 710m (27.9") off the ground, making it easier to smaller riders and ladies to reach the asphalt when stopped. Enjoy the gallery after the jump until we find out about the price tag.
