Brabus Mercedes G65 AMG

The Brabus Mercedes G65 AMG, which was revealed today at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show, is probably the most extreme and most luxurious G Class you'll be able to find on the market today. Called the Brabus 800 Widestar, the customized G65 AMG comes with mountains of extra horsepower, a bespoke body kit and an upgraded interior. The new Brabus G65 AMG is powered by the factory 6.0-liter V12 engine, which has been modified.
Now it develops 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) at 5,500 rpm and 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft) of torque from 2,100 rpm. Brabus limits the torque output of the 800 Widestar to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) because of various technical reasons. With so much power under its boxy skin, the Brabus G65 is able to rocket from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.2 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h). To get the extra power, Brabus installed a biturbo system, custom exhaust manifolds, four water-to-air intercoolers and they optimized the throttle response too. They also fitted the G65 AMG with a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with free-flow metal catalysts and a butterfly valve, and a carbon-fiber hood scoop to improve engine cooling.
The Brabus Mercedes G65 AMG's bodykit includes wider fenders (add 12 cm / 4.7 inches in width), a new front bumper with integrated LED DRLs, a new grille, a roof spoiler and a new rear bumper.
Brabus also equips the G65 AMG with dark-tinted xenon headlights, and various other LED lights. Brabus' G65 AMG sits on 23-inch alloy wheels, a BILSTEIN Ride Control suspension system with two-way electrically adjustable shock absorbers and automatic damper adjustment.

Brabus is also offering various bespoke parts for the G65's interior too. The price of these mods is going to be announced at a later date.
