Superman has always been the poster child for DC Comics (alongside Batman of course), and Zack Snyder’s recent ‘Man of Steel’ film adaptation certainly resurrected Superman’s popularity among the mainstream audience.
DeviantArt illustration artist Jeff Chapman decided to create his own woman version of Superman for this amazing Girl of Steel illustration series playing off the recent spike in popularity for the Man of Steel. There are 6 different illustrations that have been created thus far, but Jeff has stated that this is an ongoing series, and he continues to iterate moving forward. Although we’re not quite sure this Supergirl concept could make it to the big screen anytime soon, the folks at Warner Bros. could take some design cues and inspiration for a Wonder Woman film. Check out the Supergirl collection below.
