Many of you will remember Adobe’s much publicized Mighty Pen and Napoleon Ruler projects unveiled at the beginning of the year. It looks like both of these gadgets were more than just concepts as Adobe announces its plans to release both the Mighty and Napoleon during the first half of the new year.

As the brand moves many of its services to the Creative Cloud, they are looking to tie in material products with the software. Their first entry will be the Mighty Pen, a pressure sensitive stylus that will connect to your mobile device using built-in Bluetooth technology. Mighty is cloud connected, lets you erase with your fingers, and aims to create a natural drawing experience for both illustration professionals and hobbyists alike. The pen isn’t the only thing the brand will be rolling out though. The Napoleon Ruler is used to create digital shapes (perfect for drafters and architects), draw accurate straight lines with ease, and transfer shapes photographed from the mobile device into a simplified architectural design. Adobe has already stated that they have more up their sleeves, and believe that the Mighty and Napoleon are just starting to scratch the surface.
