Two thousand and thirteen was an incredible year for Pebble. They shipped to their Kickstarter backers; landed at Best Buy, AT&T, and Amazon; enabled iOS 7 notifications; launched SDK 2.0; and more. Today, with over 300,000 Pebbles on wrists all over the world, they’re back with really great news to share.
The Pebble Steel ($250). Smaller and thinner than the original, this new model is made from forged and CNC-machined stainless steel in a brushed or matte black finish, and sports corning Gorilla glass along a new tricolor LED. It runs all the same apps and software as Pebble though. It is completely compatible with the existing Pebble ecosystem. Every steel comes with metal and leather straps, giving you the choice to dress it up or dress it down.
