Sony Unveils a6000 Camera with World’s Fastest Autofocus

Sony has released the new a6000 mirrorless camera claiming it to have the world’s fastest autofocus. Replacing the NEX-6 camera, the a6000 features a 24-megapixel CMOS sensor, Sony’s latest Bionz X processor, and a hybrid autofocus system that covers 92% of the frame with phase-detect points. This makes continuous shooting possible at 11 fps with subject tracking, while movie features include zebra stripes and clean HDMI output. Available in either silver or black, the body retails for $650 USD, or in a kit with a 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 power zoom lens for $800 USD.
