Looking like something straight out of the Tron universe, the Aston Martin DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo concept has been created for Sony’s legendary Gran Turismo video game series. Not that we could afford it if it ever were to be put into production, but at least knowing it’s being made for a game keeps our hopes from getting too high.
The DP-100 is Aston Martin’s first mid-engine vehicle, with that engine being a twin-turbocharged V12 producing (a theoretical) 800 horsepower. Besides that amazing shape with its active aerodynamics, design highlights include vented wheel arches for better airflow, ‘swan wing’ opening doors, active blades on each wheel which automatically open to cool the brakes or close to decrease drag, and ‘bladed’ rear LED lights.
