Adidas enters the smartwatch arena with the new Android-based miCoach Smart Run. For the first time all kind of runners will be able to track routes using GPS mapping, monitor your heart rate, listen to your favorite music and get through miCoach training lessons in real time.
No wires , straps and additional sensors in this unique all-in-one device, "Smart Run" uses optical technology to monitor your heart rate from your wrist. A built-in accelerometer counts each step so you can monitor your stride rate, GPS monitors speed, distance and records the distance traveled, also an MP3 player plays your workout music via Bluetooth - all in a single yet simple, color touchscreen. Available from November.
