Weineck Engineering has released the Cobra, a racing car with a 780 cubic inch V8 engine and 1100 horsepower that can reach 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds. With a custom-made engine by Donovan Engineering and Weineck Engineering pistons, crankshafts, connecting rods and heads, the Cobra can surpass 4,500 RPM while hitting 186 mph in 10 seconds. Produced in Bad Gandersheim, Germany, only 15 of the racing machines have been made, with a retail price of $746,000 USD. Unsurprisingly all 15 have already sold, however there will be one more available at RM Auctions’ Paris auction in February.
