Deus Ex Machina‘s team in Venice, California, has given birth to a pair of twins: Boodaak and Dakdaak. Mercifully, these names haven’t been slapped on human babies, but instead on a pair of new custom Honda motorcycles. Both bikes are hand-built with motocross engines, making them ready to compete on the track, or just blow away that unsuspecting motorist at the stoplight.
Jim Wood at Southland Racing Products did the tuning on both motors, with the Boodaak being powered by a HRC Johnny Campbell spec Honda XR650R motor, and the Dakdaak, the quicker and lighter of the two, using a Honda CRF450X Stage Two motor. The stoppage comes from Beringer six piston brakes up front and rear Brembos. Both bikes also feature hand-fabricated aluminum gas tanks, custom-made seats with Kushitani leather, and Bridgestone Battlax BT-003 rubber tires.
