With French designer Nicolas Petit having already created some stunning custom projects for one of the world's biggest BMW aftermarket part retailer Wunderlich, we expected nice stuff to keep our minds on fire during the holidays. And seeing three new concepts for the BMW R1200S is really glorious.
Since it's been more than once when Petit's ideas became real modding kits and the designer himself claims his latest idea somehow follows the “measurements of the Panigale”, we might expect Wunderlich to create a BMW R1200S kit to rival the design of the Ducati in terms of smooth streetfighter lines.
Nicolas Petit went for the heritage of the 1100S, as this model was the first to receive an asymmetrical looks. With the front side panels shorter and letting a lot of engine in plain sight, Petit believes half of the fairing is just about enough. The exhaust could be a 2-in-1, with underseat positioning for a classic sportsbike look.
What's really interesting is the pulled back headlight, now possibly hidden deeper inside the front cowl. We're looking forward for to see some other angles for the BMW R1200S concept, because so far, we're totally hooked.
