Here’s a car that we’ve been anxiously expected for quite a while – the Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has recently announced the first details about the production version of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.
The main idea behind the production version is that it will be kept almost exactly like the concept model. There are just a few modifications like improved overall structural safety and an increased stiffness factor.
The interior of the production Sesto Elemento will match the concept version’s, with customizable seat shape and position, based on the preferences of the customer. The seats are partly featuring a carbon fiber monocoque structure and come with additional cushions for improved comfort, even at high speeds. There will also be two individual crash structures, at the front and rear, with quick-release points which permits a facile removal during maintenance processes.
The hypercar, which is reportedly built solely for the track, will boast the same drivetrain as the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera – a 5.2-liter V10 engine that delivers 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque tied to a 6-speed automated manual transmission. As the Sesto Elemento will be the proud owner of a 999 kg (2,202 lbs) curb weight, it will be able to reach a top speed in excess of 200 mph (322 km/h) and to accelerate from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a whopping 2.5 seconds.
The price of the stunning Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be around €2 million (somewhere around $2.6 million) and it will be manufactured as a limited edition of 20 units, which have already been reserved.
I love cars a lot, but only a few stunned my expectations. Generally, upon seeing this beast here, my eyes are dazzled, and the details inside and out are totally jaw-dropping. It will definitely defy the limits once it released in the car market industry. Lucky are those who'll get the chance to purchase one for I know that this sexy ride here will be limited special edition.
