You don’ t have to speak fluent Italian to know what the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario is all about. This year marks 50 years of Lamborghini, and this car marks that milestone. Due to be unveiled in the next couple of days at the Shanghai Motor Show, the Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario features a few engineering and aerodynamic changes designed to help it look better and go faster than the standard Aventador.
First off it’s got 720 horsepower, 20 more than the Aventador. That should allow it to post a 0-62 mph (100km/h) time of under 2.9 seconds, and attain a top speed in excess of 217 mph (350 km/h).
In addition to the extra power, Lamborghini have fitted the Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario with new, more aggressively styled front and rear bumpers. A couple of discreet “50″ badges help highlight the car’s purpose.
