Eric Buell has been working alongside his team for decades building some of the finest motorcycles on the planet. Although we hadn’t seen a new Buell bike hit the street scene in quite some time, the 2014 Erik Buell Racing 1190RX Superbike puts an end to that.

Weighing in at only 419 pounds dry, you better believe that this thing flies down the road thanks to the 1,1990cc liquid-cooled, four stroke V-Twin engine – a setup that is good for 185 horsepower and just under 102 lb-ft of torque.

What good is all that engine power if you don’t have the brakes to go with it? To get the job done, EBR went with a massive 386mm rotor paired with a 8 piston caliper out front along with  a 220mm disc paired with a 2 piston caliper out back. To ensure maximum performance on the street and track, the superbike has been outfitted with a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa Tires. The 1190RX Superbike will be available in your choice of either Racing Red, Strike Yellow, or Galactic Black, all retailing for just under $19,000.
