For us the, the George Foreman grill ranks among the best inventions of all time. As lazy guys who don’t really enjoy cooking and cleaning, but love a nicely cooked burger, the Foreman has become our right hand man over the past decade. The T-Fal OptiGrill looks to take everything we love from our good old George Foreman, and infuse it with some 21st century technology.
At first glance, this portable kitchen grill looks like a tricked out George Foreman, and that’s because that’s essentially what it is. You can cook up anything from burgers and steaks all the way to paninis and poultry. All you have to do is select the type of meat you will be cooking, throw your meat onto the large cooking surface, and the T-Fal OptiGrill does the rest.
It will automatically detect the thickness of the meat, and determine the proper time to cook the meat. Using a built-in sensor, the OptiGrill will display how cooked the meat is through the glowing color wheel along with an audible beep in case you’re not in the room. So whether you prefer your steak with a little pink, or a well done burger, this dishwasher safe device will get it done right.
