When it comes to concept cars the general rule is, the crazier the better. Not always true. But for the most part it’s a fairly reliable statement. The Peugeot XRC concept is case in point. It looks more like an RC car than something that was designed to accept the proportions of a human body. It was created by the Brazilian designer Tiago Aiello, and unfortunately for mankind it doesn’t stand a chance of production.
Despite the fact the XRC is so radical that it would be near impossible to incorporate Peugeot’s design language into the bodywork of the car, Aiello has done a good job of getting Peugeot’s new grille and headlight style into the front of the car.
As the car is basically a single-seat off-road racer, it seems fitting that Aiello has imagined a one-make race series for the car, which sees it in action across sand dunes, gravel tracks and snow covered plains.
