Acura revealed at this year's NAIAS in Detroit the NSX's interior. The Acura NSX concept presented at this year's show also features a number of discreet exterior styling modifications. It seems that the new NSX is still a work in progress. Its exterior might resemble the production version, but apparently,
Acura is going to make several modifications to the NSX's interior before the new supercar will go on sale. The Acura NSX's interior is designed based on a "Human Support Cockpit" concept. According to Acura, the NSX is going to offer very good exterior visibility, an "exotic" driving position and a "Simple
Sports Interface".
Acura plans to power the new NSX with a mid-mounted V6 petrol engine with direct injection, which is going to be mated Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system. This means that the Acura NSX is going to have a three-motor hybrid system with torque vectoring all-wheel drive. One of the electric motors is going to be integrated into the V6 internal combustion engine, while the other two are going to spin the MSX's front wheels. The car will have a new dual-clutch transmission (DCT). We'll have more details about the Acura NSX concept as soon as they're available.
