Nissan revealed at the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit their latest crossover concept, which is called the Resonance. The Nissan Resonance Concept previews a 5-seat four-wheel-drive Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) that has a 2.5-litre DOHC engine and an electric motor.
Its powertrain has a one-motor/two-clutch hybrid technology and an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The Nissan Resonance measures 190.6 inches in length, 78.7 inches in width, 68.1 inches in height and it has a 113.2-inch wheelbase. Its exterior is shaped following the V-Motion design language, is completed by the trademark boomerang shaped headlights.
Some of the Resonance's distinctive styling features include the tinted acrylic grille with its Satin Chrome accents and the 22-inch alloys. The modern cabin of Nissan's Resonance concept is filled with natural wood and an intriguing interior illumination system. The Resonance concept comes with an advanced instrument panel that offers the impression of a holographic experience. Its passengers have a panoramic view thanks to the large glass roof.
