The four wheeled vehicles have been stealing most of the spotlight from this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great motorcycle and scooter offerings as well. Bimmer has just pulled the curtain back on their BMW C Evolution Electric Scooter.
For urban dwellers, scooters have become a great way to get from point A to point B. Knowing this, BMW built an eco-friendly scooter capable of getting 62 miles on a single charge. It can even reach a top speed of 75 mph, which is quite impressive for an electric scooter.
The battery takes about four hours to fully recharge, and the permanent magnet synchronous motor is capable of a peak power output of 47 horsepower (rated at 15 horsepower). The scooter is also equipped with LED daytime running lights, TFT color display showing all of your vitals like battery charge status, and several different ride modes for maximum comfort.
