Our iPhone navigation works quite well, but nothing beats seeing the traffic situation for yourself. That’s exactly what the Renault Kwid Concept vehicle does thanks to the included drone that docks to the roof of the vehicle.

So how does it work you ask? The aerial drone can be manually controlled from the built-in dashboard tablet, or ran on auto-pilot. The drone will fly out, not only survey traffic, but also take pretty awesome ariel photography, and not to mention freaking out some other commuters in the process. As for the Dune Buggy inspired vehicle itself? The Renault Kwid is a 2-door, two-wheel drive model that is powered by a dual-clutch 1.2 liter turbocharged engine. While we’re not quite sure if this thing will ever see the light of day, it’s certainly a cool concept.
