Our prediction for 2014 – that Michael Bolton would return to rule the charts with a new dubstep album – failed to materialize. But after seeing the COBI Connected Biking System, we’ve got one for 2015: More people will wanna ride bicycles.

The magic starts by locking in your smartphone to your handlebars via the interchangeable 200g mount case. Inside the case is the software that acts as a dashboard, giving you more than 100 features including a speedometer, navigation with turn-by-turn directions, Spotify playlists, theft alarm, weather updates, phone charger, bell, turn signals via an auto brake light, hands-free calls, and more. The COBI app even promises a predicative interface that will show what is most relevant to each situation for the rider.
