Garmin has been spearheading the GPS navigation systems for quite some time now and it's time to introduce their latest zumo: the zumo390LM, an accessory sworn to make riding a motorcycle not only easier, but much funnier.
Aside from the usual treats Garmin has been getting us used to, such as water- and dust-resistant units, the new zumo390LM brings more nifty goods. First of all we'd like to mention the petrol-resistant plastic of the new case, a truly great asset for the tourers which sometimes may run into mechanical trouble.
The new zumo390LM also boasts improved Bluetooth connectivity and can now read data coming from the Garmin Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors (sold separately). Extensive navigation enhancements are also present: Exit Services, TracBack, Lane Assist with Junction View, BaseCamp route planning, and an option to choose the most winding road to your destination.
Another nifty feature is the Service History Log, letting you keep record of routine maintenance and emergency repairs. The Garmin zumo390LM comes with a lifetime of free map updates and retails for a MSRP of $699.99 (€528), motorcycle and car mounts included.
