Not all of us can afford Triumph and Harley motorcycles to customize. Knowing this, the team at Bandit9 Motorcycle Design decided to customize a Yamaha XVS400 to inspire other bike builders to start building well engineered 2 wheelers on less than stellar platforms.

The Atlas as it’s called, is not the first build from Daryl Villanueva and his Bandit9 team. In fact the Beijing customizers received quite a bit of attention last year for their stealth Nero motorcycle, and we imagine the Atlas will also garner plenty of attention from bike enthusiasts. The motorcycle underwent three different design iterations, and took a year to finish. The Yamaha XVS400 Atlas has been outfitted with a custom made headlight and handlebars, extended body, lower more aggressive stance, and 19 inch Firestone tires among other upgrades and modifications.
